Basically I created Jewtunes for 3 simple reasons:
1. I enjoy writing a great deal
2. I love music…way to much
3. Writing about music is a way to combine both of these wonderful artistic aspects
Jewtunes is a simple concept: What you should and want to know about ongoings in the music community, centered around but not limited to the indie genre. This blog will be updated on a daily (mostly) basis with everything from industry news, record previews/reviews, upcoming releases, concert reviews, tour info, etc. All of this will usually be accompanied by tracks and videos that really show what true music is all about. Hopefully this little project will evolve into a small time alternative to the pitchforks of this world, with the personal aspect of a brooklyn vegan, mixed with the archiving of largehearted boy.
Hopefully you will enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it.
